When one of the girls is crying and I’m wasting time, frantically rooting around a changing bag for the elusive wipes only to be confronted with a half eaten sandwich and handful of lint covered raisins, I’m stressed and they know it…..
If I’m organised, I’m happy. It’s just the way I am, it makes life easier.
Time with my family is precious and something we can never get back. Whether it’s a trip to the park or more adventurous far flung places, knowing I’m organised with my PacaPod is one less thing to worry about.
Being free to have time to do the things I love with the one’s I love is something I wouldn’t change for the world”
Jacqueline Waggett – Mum of two and creator of Pacapod.
But it wasn’t just becoming a mum that gave her the spark to design her own baby changing bag. Having spent fifteen years designing outdoor clothing, which had to be comfortable and practical even in extreme weather conditions, Jacqueline took time cycling around the world with all her possessions stored in two bicycle panniers. As you can imagine, her eye for design – combined with the tips she learned for travelling light and being organised – came in handy when she came to develop her own design.
Since then ithe PacaPod baby changing bag has been enthusiastically snapped up by busy parents, celebrities such as Jo Whiley and Jason Manford and major nursery retailers including John Lewis & Mothercare across the UK. All new product development ideas come from working closely with parents both new and experienced to help make life as a parent as stressfree and easy as possible.
