Because parents need all the help they can get!
When I was about to become a Mum for the first time, I read all the books and talked to everyone who had an opinion (which was pretty much everyone). Both me and my partner Dave, really thought we were prepared for the arrival of our baby. But there is nothing like doing it for real - when we went outdoors with Isabel for the first time and tried to get on with our lives, we had one of the biggest shocks.
It was like learning to walk again! feeding and changing whilst on the go. Finding everything in a hurry was hard enough, let alone being able to do it all one handed. Oh is that my phone ringing? where are my keys...ahh!
It got a whole lot harder when Isabel got bigger, food, drinks, toys galore and all with a much more active child. The bag I had wasn't up to it - not even close.
So........ I designed one (I'm also an outdoor clothing designer).
NOT JUST ANOTHER BABY BAG
As a big fan of the great outdoors, the inspiration came from a cycling holiday.
Whilst travelling on our bikes, all our possessions were kept in just two panniers, which were unloaded and reloaded everyday. I was always losing things and it drove me crazy! So, within the pannier I created an organising system. Using separate coloured stuff sacs for toiletries, underwear, cooking utensils etc - this system made it really easy to find things quickly, rather than rummaging around never knowing what you would find next! A simple solution.
It was this unique organising idea that inspired the PacaPod 3 in1 baby bag and it really works!
