Following the Manchester 10K Great Run yesterday, I have extremely sore legs (having not run for a month due to an ankle injury), it was a bit of a shock to the system – Ibuprofen is my new best friend today!
It was an amazing experience and the adrenalin really kicked in, I felt like a celeb slapping hands with children beside the road as we ran amongst 38,000 people, and didn’t even notice the rain!
Running for such a worthy cause as Cancer Research really spurred me on, a big thank you to all those who sponsored me so generously!
